Milan is an impassioned suburban farmsteader working to combat wasteful and ecologically degrading land-use practices. They see suburban agriculture as a missing extension of small-scale farming.

This grant supports retrofitting an existing underused shed into a greenhouse, the addition of a rainwater collection and irrigation system, and general expansion. Each year, a predetermined allotment is shared with Baltimore Community Fridge to help fight food insecurity.
