Grain & Pestle

Grain & Pestle LLC is an herb apothecary and pottery studio thats runs a market and healing arts garden based in Highland Park Michigan. Our focus is education and increasing accessibility to alternative health products, services, and information. We grow select ethnic crops and food grade herbs used to make a wide range of value added herbal products available to the underserved community where the garden is located. Grain & Pestle is owned and operated by urban farmer/herbalist/art therapist Geoffrey Edwards.

The Sky High Farm 2024 Grant has supported infrastructure for our market garden to include the purchase of a high tunnel, garden tools, irrigation, and essential apothecary and studio equipment for initiating educational programming on herbal medicine, art therapy, and water conservation.
