Dollison Farms

Dollison Farms runs a Youth Cattle Club Program that empowers youth aged 8-18 with hands-on education in sustainable agriculture, livestock farming, and value-added product creation. The program contributes to the community by promoting agricultural literacy, sustainable practices, and local food production.

This grant from Sky High Farms supported the purchase of five cows, their feed to ensure proper weight gain, and processing into ground beef. Additionally, funds were used to acquire freezers to store the inventory until sold and a year-long subscription to an online platform for advertising and selling the ground beef via pickup or shipping, further supporting local food systems and the program's sustainability.
